holy shit ya'll
I read in the paper today that a tsunami was triggered off the western coast of Africa by a volcanic eruption. A 12-mile wide chunk of the volcano has already rattled itself loose from the mainland and is about to plunge off the coast into the Atlantic. They're saying it's a matter of when, rather than if. And when, a 75-foot tidal wave will head towards the coast of NY, traveling at 600 miles per hour.
how great it would be to see this!

7-up to cram, 9-lovely exam, 10-sculpting in 3D, 12-observed galleries for formal analysis, 1-drawing more still life, 3-finish noting on art works, fix that empty signal on my gas gauge, eat dinner, n get ready fer work, 4-work, 9-FREEDOM, but a slight ring in the back of me head saying something about a formal analysis and exam tomorrow. damn

this week summed up shortly:
applied to about 20 places. [small job apps these days are in freakin SAT format anymore.. i mean you've got to know your mathematical formulas and everything!]
Got 5 offers.
went to an interview, succeeded, got the working garments, and trained--all to quit a day later.
went to another two interviews.
got drug tested by the new gum-saliva method.
started working at the mediterranean market, trained for 2 days, put on a part-time schedule. [and i might add, suffered terribly from "i-don't-know-a-word-in-italian-which-happens-to-be-the-ony-language-on-the-huge-ass-menu" syndrome]
lost ten bucks for two days of parking to go to work. [pay to go to work?? *shakes head*]
heard back from different interviewer.
went back to mediterranean market to have a nice face-to-face quitting session.
and am scheduled for new training at my
FINAL JOB.
& the new semester starts monday. twill be the first time i've attempted 18 hours. and for a school-perfectionist, i'm a lil scared.

i tried going to the mall to take advantage of christmas money/gift cerificates/things i really wanted and didn't get/day after christmas sales, but i couldn't do it. no one seems to mind anymore about that little thing called personal space or that word "restrain". I don't know how many times I got pushed or slammed or stood next to a group of people who would blatantly babble about my ear (gauged) at a volume at which it seemed plain to me that they were speaking directly to me.
besides the way retailers try to oversaturate consumers has gotten to a ridiculous point. i went with an entire list of things i needed, but i ended up being way too blasted away by the gobs and gobs of different types of different kinds of different colors of the same damn thing!
